Rating: 7.5/10

Lee Min Ho fans across the globe are probably preparing to gouge my eyes out for the low rating. By the end of the kdrama, sure, I was totally in love. Who wouldn’t be? But it took a while for me to be drawn in, so I’m detracting points for that. Otherwise, this is a very sweet and surprisingly complex drama, with hilarious adult humour.

Once again, I hesitated watching this drama. I couldn’t decide to go with the Japanese version or the Korean >.< I finally decided on the Korean – its hero is nicer on the eyes. Yes, I admit it: I’m a shallow gal.

This is without a doubt one of the cutest kdramas I have ever seen!

I expected great things of this kdrama. Not only does it star Park Shin Hye, it has flower boys, and is a rom-com. I mean, look at that picture. Does this not seem like a cute drama?

Intrigued by Park Shin Hye in You’re Beautiful, I turned another of her kdramas, interested in seeing her play a more feminine role. In Heartstrings, we finally get the happy ending for Shin Hye and Jung Yong Hwa that we missed in You’re Beautiful. They just make the cutest couple! ^o^

I hesitated a lot before watching these dramas—silly, really. My dilemma: which one to watch first? I prefer jdramas, but the kdrama came first. I ummed and ahhed for months, until I finally put my foot down.

And began with Ikemen desu ne.

But the real question is: which is better?
